This shit is genius; psychedelic cacophony with screaming sax and a bevy of mind-blowing textures. Trippy, crushing, and ultra-cool (check out "Filth"; the aural equivalent of Dragnet on acid)... NARCOSATANICOS is all kinds of kick-ass in a densely wild package.
Favorite track: Voodoo Jesus.
A vicious and cacophonous trip accompanied by screaming saxophone and fuzz-laden guitars. A foray into aspects of psychedelia less traveled within the genre- that of the negative narcotic experience, the paranoia, the frenzied euphoria and the all-consuming bad trip.
This record is a summation of various songs developed during the course of our earlier live appearances. Recorded separately by Thomas Mee at Sonic College in november 2012 and Jonathan Højgaard at Cable Hell Studio in april 2013, mixed by Antonius Lovmand, mastered by Jakob Hvitnov and released on 12" vinyl by Mastermindrec.
One of the most thought-provoking political albums I've heard - the power mechanisms being critiqued are always just out of view, implied through seemingly overheard conversations and oppressive, claustrophobic electronics. A direct line could be drawn from punk to this via Swans' Soundtracks For The Blind, except here the anger of punk is completely dissolved into apathy and powerlessness. This is the perfect soundtrack to the modern political landscape. Lazarski
Intense, bonkers, crazy, insane and quite brilliant. A thoroughly exciting, entertaining and head melting journey. Never tire of hearing "Heads" member Paul Allen's searing guitar sonics. A fantastic listening experience. Highly recommended! Tim Grady
